We have designed and developed special purpose machine for counting number of turns of coils of HT transformers. Yon need to place the coil one by one on the machine test bed and press the button to activate the excitation coil to magnetize the field. This in turn will generate the emf in the test coil which is captured and measured and compared with a reference coil output. By applying the transformer coil turn formula we can get the number of turns in the test coil. This is all done by a microprocessor and the final value of coil turns in displaced on the LCD. In case you have to count a lot of same type of coils you can set the error value by pressing +v/-Ve push buttons on the main control panel. Data can also be transferred to a PC or laptop through hyper terminal. 08082021
